Circle Time
The purpose of my Twitterive is to give the reader some insight into what it would be like to experience a day in the life of a child with a fully cognicent adult brain. This idea came to me one day while I was social media surfing and simply thought "I wish I could be a kid again, just for one day." This led me to think about what it would be like to experience everyday child activities through the lens of a child, but with the functioning mind of an adult. I hope you immerse yourself in the experience and fully embrace your inner child. Don't be afraid to live like a child sometimes.
The inspiration for this assignment came from some of my tweets, in which I expressed how sometimes I wish I could go back to a simpler life, where you have no responsibilities, a life as a child, for just one day. This led me to think about what it would actually be like if this happened to an adult. This led me to write some microfition pieces that provide some back story for my character ,as well as, sets the tone for the entire piece. I am unsure of what I can, or want to use as my repetend, but I wuld like it to be some form of inner monologue, or thought that the character has.
However I am sure of what my place and theme are for this assignment. The theme will be the day in the life of a child but with the thought processess of an adult. My "place" is more of an abstract representation of the word, for my purposes the place of this assignment is the mind andthought processes of an adult in a child's body. The reationship between the two will structure my assignment.

A typical thursday night...wasn't it?
“Two classes down, one to go then it's officially the weekend...Well as far as school goes” Steve thought to himself as he sat in his last class of the week, a Thursday evening class that made him feel as though his eyes were oozing out of his skull. “Whatever happened to the good old days when you were a kid?” he added to his collection of gloomy thoughts. Steve was an average guy who hated school with a passion. He often said he would pay double the tuition if he could just fast forward to the point of his college career where you walk across the stage and shake the President of the universities hand and are free of organized education for the rest of your life. He looked forward to the weekend more than anything because it meant he was free from the blandness of vanilla walls for two short days. He even didn’t mind Friday’s where he had to work a double at the local hardware store, because even that meant he didn’t have to listen to monotone professors that reminded him of the teacher from Charlie Brown. But as he thought about the approaching weekend, the anxiety of 4 more months of school hung over his head. As he laid his head on the hard wooden desk he thought “I wish I could go back to being a little kid for just one day... No responsibilities and you just play all day”

Words within words
School made him feel old
You were a kid
Add average passion,
He would pay.
Fast forward your life
Look forward more than anything
He didn’t mind because he listened,
That reminded him of school.
He thought to be a kid you just play all day

Waking up not yourself!!!
"Wake up Steven, you’ve gotta get up and help your brother get ready for school” . As Steven’s alarm rhythmically rings 5 times in a row to notify him that it is in fact time to get up and start the day. While his mother is leaving the house for her long day of work she again shouts up the stairs “Steven I’m leaving you need to get up and get your brother ready”.
“Alright mom, I’m up“ he mumbles with his eyes still closed I love how they call his daycare school Steve thinks to himself as he pulls the blanket off his legs and swivels to exit his bed. “Damn that felt like a short drop out of bed,” he says as he completes the short walk to the hallway bathroom with his eyes still cemented shut. He sits down to use the bathroom and almost falls in, he begins to wonder what is going on today. Why do things seem so strange and unfamiliar to him.And then he opens his eyes and walks to the bathroom sink to wash
his hands and face, and it hits him.He sees a peculiar reflection looking back at him, one that looks almost identical to his younger brother Matthew.“Holy Shit” Steven screams loud enough to startle Matthew awake. “I’m 4 years old again. This can’t be possible. My wish must have come true!”
“This can’t be happening” Steven reassures himself “someone is
just playing a trick on me”.

"Steven wake up!!" yelled Steve's professor.
As he hazily rubs his eyes to discover that his hands are the size of an average 22 year old, and not small and dainty as they had been.
"What's going on?" Steven asks "Where am I?"
Steven looks down to discoveinr that his arms, legs, and torso are all proportional to his adult body. As Steven's professor looks at him as if he is pyschotic, he jumps up and runs from the classroom screaming all the way down the hallway.
"I'm not a little kid, I'm grown!!!" Steven shouted as he jumped up and down. to Steven's surprise, and those around him, he is not crazy. He is not a small child anymore. However the extremely realistic dream was just that a dream. But it did make Steven realize that the theoretical grass, isn't always greener on the oher side.
